TSSZ News reports:
‘It seemed a little odd: After stating that the upcoming Xbox Live/Playstation Network/PC/Smartphone release of Sonic CD would not have the North American soundtrack due to “licensing issues”, a number of tracks from that very same soundtrack made appearances in Sonic Generations.
SEGA’s Ken Balough went on record, stating that they knew fans of the game wanted a soundtrack toggle and that they were working to get it in the game, but the implication seemed to be that it would not come until after Sonic CD had already hit the marketplace, possibly as some form of downloadable content.’

‘SEGA says the core experience of Virtua Tennis on Vita is nearly identical to VT4 on PS3, allowing you to create a character, start a career, and participate in tournaments while enhancing your skills through all kinds of bizarre tennis-related skill tests.’
MCV quizzed UKIE board member and SEGA UK MD John Clark on the importance of including digital sales into the weekly charts. A few quotes:
‘Although there is an inevitable move towards digital, I firmly believe that retail will always play a vital role in the promotion and delivery of video game products to the consumer.’
‘With Football Manager 2012, we measure year-on-year sales against 2011. But Total War has over 12 different pieces of content that are only available digitally. This adds a different layer that challenges like-for-like measurements.’

Gamefront posted SEGA Europe’s release schedule for November 2011 and beyond. It’s in German but you should be able to work it out.

Pocket Gamer reports:
‘Sonic CD will be coming out in December for all mobile platforms, including Android, but SEGA has revealed to Pocket Gamer that there are currently no plans for an Xperia Play-optimised version of the game. However, the developer also added that this doesn’t rule out the possibility that this could change in the future.
“SEGA is always interested in supporting all mobile platforms,” said Ken Balough, brand manager for Sonic CD. “And we agree, Xperia Play offers some pretty unique opportunities for us as publishers… you never know when we’ll announce something new.”
