SEGA announces official London 2012 game

No, this ain’t Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic games:

‘LONDON & SAN FRANCISCO (May 31st, 2011) – SEGA® Europe Ltd. & SEGA® America, Inc., today announced London 2012™ – The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games.

The officially licensed video game of the London 2012 Olympic Games will once again be published exclusively by SEGA in partnership with International Sports Multimedia (ISM), the exclusive licensee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

London 2012™ – The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games will be available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC, hitting stores in 2012.’

Sonic Generations has redemption system?

TSSZ News reports: ‘Many of us have seen the Green Hill playthroughs from Sonic Generations dozens of times now. Yet, the latest demo preview, this time from German website GameOne, still surprises.

There’s nothing in either classic or modern levels that’s different from before.  But take a look at the 7:52 mark, where time converts to score, and ultimately a grade. We see a pop-up box that then converts the score to points. Those points are seen next to a credit card like icon.[..]

*SEGA Japan will be hosting a special exhibition to celebrate Sonic’s 20th anniversary. Various classic Sonic games and goods will be on display, merchandise will be sold and goodies given away. People can also apply for
an exclusive ’behind the scenes look’ at Sonic Generations, for which the entry will be limited to only 100 lucky individuals.

Cream to appear in Sonic Generations?

TSSZ News reports: ‘We’ve known for some time that, while the core gameplay in Sonic Generations will be handled by just classic and modern Sonic, we would see a few in-game appearances from other characters in the Sonic universe. Today, we received our first guidance of who may have made the cut.’
